Tiger Woods has dominated the world of golf in the last decade, winning thirty per cent of the PGA tour events he entered.
The world number one has achieved many great things in the game but one performance will forever live in the memory, his record-setting, 15-stroke triumph in the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. One month later, Woods posted an eight-stroke win in The Open Championship at the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland. He fashioned four consecutive rounds in the 60s and never three-putted, becoming the youngest player in golf history to win all four major championships.
Despite the fact that he hasn't won a major since 2008, Woods is the current 5-2 favourite for the first major of 2010, the US Masters at Augusta in April, despite not having confirmed when he is going to return to the golf course.
Woods, who is currently taking time out of the game after revelations about his provate life, hasn't played golf in public since winning the JBWere Masters in Australia by two shots in November.
Woods is also a short priced favourite (general 9-4 chance) to land a fourth Open title at St Andrews in July.
